With over seven years of experience, Mariama’s practice focuses primarily on project development and structuring, financing, corporate, and related commercial matters for both domestic and international clients.

Her areas of expertise include Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters, particularly permitting, land acquisition/compensation, environmental issues (in particular IFC standards), HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment), maritime regulation, employment law, and foreign exchange issues, in the mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors. She regularly advises clients (investors, industrial operators, public entities) on both cross-border and local issues.

Prior to joining ADNA, Mariama worked in the Financial Advisory and Legal Services department of a major audit and advisory firm in Casablanca.

Mariama is fluent in French and English.
